Upon arrival come to the Opex Compound where the Opex team will check you in, and you will receive your house assignment and a swag bag.

WHAT EQUIPMENT SHOULD I BRING?
Everything you need to fish will be provided – tackle, bait, license, cooler, snacks, drinks, etc. If you want or need something special, then please feel free to bring it. We do recommend bringing sunglasses and sunscreen.
WHERE WILL WE BE FISHING?
We will be fishing in the Pamlico River, this is not offshore fishing and is generally more relaxed.

HOW LONG WILL I BE STAYING AT RIVER DUNES?
You will be staying one night – either September 18th or 19th.
WHERE IS THE NEAREST AIRPORT?
The closest airport is Coastal Carolina Airport in New Bern, NC (about a 45-minute drive from River Dunes).
WHAT TIME SHOULD I BOOK MY FLIGHT BACK?
Recommended flight time for departure from New Bern, NC is 10 am or later due to travel time and logistics.

WHAT WILL THE RENTAL PROPERTY HAVE PROVIDED FOR ME?
All linens (towels, sheets, etc.) are provided; however, you may want to bring extra beach towels if you plan to use the pool. Every property has a washer and dryer for doing laundry. (You may want to bring laundry detergent if you think you will need it.) Upon arrival, please read the instruction sheets posted in the rental carefully. They include information on the care of the unit, WIFI access, check-out procedures, etc.
WHAT SHOULD I PACK?
Pack light and enjoy a fun and casual trip - no business attire is needed! With September's warm temperatures, shorts, t-shirts, and hats are perfect for daytime activities. Don't forget to bring a jacket for the cooler evening temperatures. As we fish rain or shine, we recommend checking the weather forecast for Oriental, NC, before you leave. In case of light showers, a rain jacket or light coat would come in handy for your fishing adventure.
